The ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends produced by Hebei Shengtian Pipe Fittings Group Co., Ltd. will be re-tested before leaving the factory before being shipped to customers.
1. The ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends material must be inspected before leaving the factory.
After the ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends is produced and before leaving the factory, some tee material inspections must be done to check whether the pipe fitting tee material is correct. Normally, our factory will be equipped with material testing instruments to find several points on the main body of the pipe fitting tee to detect whether the tee material is qualified.
2. The appearance of the ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends must be inspected before leaving the factory.
In order to better meet customers' needs for ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends, the appearance dimensions and appearance quality of stainless steel
Bends must be inspected before leaving the factory to see if they are processed according to customer needs, whether the wall thickness is within a reasonable range, and whether there is any deviation in the caliber. Measure whether the length of the main branch pipe meets the standard; check whether there are cracks, rust, electric shock damage, local melting on the surface of the pipe fitting tee, whether the distribution of the quenching area is appropriate , and whether there are any defects such as scars that may affect use.
If there are cracks on the ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends, whether they are quenching cracks or material cracks, these two cracks are relatively small and are usually inspected by magnetic particle inspection; surface etching can be used, that is, using sandpaper to remove the surface coating or scale . Finally, use 10%~25% nitric acid alcohol solvent as a corrosive agent and apply it directly on the surface of the bends. After 10~20S, the surface of the pipe fitting tee can clearly show whether there are cracks, soft spots and hardened areas; macroscopic inspection, For induction hardened shaft tees with a diameter less than 25 or 30mm, grind a notch on a grinder, then break it with a hammer or press it with a press. Observe the fracture directly. The hardened layer in the fracture will show fine gray-white stubble (surface layer). The quenched part in the middle shows rough stubble.
After a series of inspections, we send out qualified ANSI B16.28 stainless steel bends, unqualified stainless steel elbow, stainless steel flanges, stainless steel tees, crosses, reducers (concentric and eccentric reducers), short ends and blocks. Not allowed to leave the factory.
