1. Avoid substances that are easy to corrode stainless steel
The most important thing for stainless steel is to keep its surface clean. Once it is corroded, the surface of stainless steel will change its appearance and become less smooth. So those things that can corrode stainless steel should be kept away from production. Either acidic or alkaline gas or liquid should be kept away from the production environment.
2. Select the matching gasket of the flange
The flange plays a very important role in connecting pipes, but it can't be without gasket. Asbestos gasket is a good helper for stainless steel flange in matching use. Asbestos is a kind of material with good properties. It can resist acid substances. Both gas and liquid can be well absorbed by asbestos, so it will not affect stainless steel. Of course, gaskets made of other materials will also be used in some special occasions. At this time, it is necessary to choose gaskets with complementary capabilities with stainless steel.
3. Flange production should consider the connection
There are different ways to connect pipes. The thinner pipes can be directly screwed with threaded flanges. Some stainless steel flanges need to face some pipes with great pressure, so they need to be welded, which is more firm and reliable. The flange made of stainless steel should preferably be welded, no matter for pipes with high or low pressure. Stainless steel welding connection is very convenient and easy to operate.
