  The installation method of stainless steel pipe fittings is the same as that of ordinary carbon steel pipe fittings, but there are some special requirements in certain processes. 

  1. When lifting stainless steel fittings, they should not come into direct contact with other metals and should be padded with non-metallic materials such as wooden boards or rubber sheets.

  2. The arc initiation and arc closure of stainless steel fittings are carried out using reflow welding method, and the arc crater should be filled. Arc initiation must be completed within the groove. It is prohibited to start an arc on the surface of the base material of pipes and fittings. If defects such as pores and cracks are found at the starting and ending points of the arc, they should be dealt with in a timely manner.

  3. The starting and ending points of multi pass and multi-layer welding of stainless steel fittings should be staggered from each other.

  4. Stainless steel pipes, fittings, elbows, tees, and connections between stainless steel pipes and fittings and non stainless steel pipes and fittings must be protected with argon gas before welding. Welding. Extreme argon arc welding.

  5. When continuously welding stainless steel fittings, the interlayer temperature shall not exceed 60 ℃.

  6. When positioning welding stainless steel pipes, pipes, and fittings, argon protection should be filled inside the weld seam.

  7. Stainless steel fittings are not allowed to be cut with ordinary grinding wheels. Stainless steel pipe fittings with dedicated grinding wheels or plasma cutting should be used.

  8. The weld seam at the connection of stainless steel fittings must undergo acid pickling and passivation treatment after welding.

  9. The water pressure test of stainless steel pipes has certain requirements for water temperature and quality. The water temperature shall not be lower than 5 degrees Celsius; The chloride ion content in water shall not exceed 25Pmm.
