Hebei Shengtian Pipefitting Group Co.,Ltd is specialized in producing stainless steel pipe factory,Introduce to you what common types of stainless steel pipes are available on the market for you to choose from.

  1. Production method:

Stainless steel welded pipes are divided into two categories: seamless pipes and welded pipes according to the production method. Seamless steel pipes can be divided into hot-rolled pipes, cold-rolled pipes, cold-drawn pipes, and extruded pipes. Cold-drawn and cold-rolled are the secondary processes of steel pipes. Processing; welded pipes are divided into straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes.

  2. Cross-sectional shape:

Stainless steel welded pipes can be divided into round pipes and special-shaped pipes according to their cross-sectional shapes. Special-shaped tubes include rectangular tubes, diamond-shaped tubes, elliptical tubes, hexagonal tubes, octagonal tubes, and various asymmetric cross-section tubes. Special-shaped tubes are widely used in various structural parts, tools, and mechanical parts. Compared with round tubes, special-shaped tubes. Pipes generally have a large moment of inertia and section modulus, and have a large bending resistance.

  3. Longitudinal section shape:

Torsion resistance can greatly reduce the weight of the structure and save steel. According to the longitudinal section shape, it can be divided into equal-section pipes and variable-section pipes. Variable cross-section pipes include tapered pipes, stepped pipes, and periodic cross-section pipes.

  4. Pipe end shape:

Stainless steel welded pipes can be divided into plain pipes and threaded pipes (threaded steel pipes) according to the condition of the pipe end. Threaded pipes can be divided into ordinary threaded pipes (pipes for low-pressure transportation of water, gas, etc., which are connected by ordinary cylindrical or conical pipe threads) and special threaded pipes (pipes for petroleum and geological drilling. For important threaded pipes, use Special thread connection), for some special pipes, to compensate for the influence of threads on the strength of the pipe end, the pipe end is usually thickened (internal thickening, external thickening or internal and external thickening) before threading.

  5. Usage: Stainless steel pipes for industrial piping, stainless steel pipes for mechanical structures, and stainless steel pipes for architectural decoration.

  6. Surface treatment: original surface, matte surface, blunt surface, coarse sand, fine sand, wool surface, etc.

ASME B16.5 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange advantage:The connection is not easy to deform, the sealing effect is good, and ASME B16.5 WN Flange is widely used. It is suitable for pipelines with large temperature or pressure fluctuations or pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature. It is also used for pipelines transporting Expensive media, flammable and explosive media, and toxic gases.
