A stainless steel tee is a connecting fitting used for pipeline branches. Compared to traditional welded tees, the currently widely used seamless welded tees have higher sealing and safety.
At present, there are two main processes for seamless welding of stainless steel tees: hydraulic bulging and hot pressing forming.
The hydraulic bulging process of stainless steel tees is achieved by injecting liquid into a tube blank of the same diameter as the stainless steel tees using a hydraulic press. Through the action of impact force and pressure, the volume of the tube blank decreases and the pressure increases until the pressure required for the expansion of the stainless steel tees branch pipe is reached, and the metal material is forced to expand out of the branch pipe.
The hot pressing forming process of stainless steel tees is to form tube billets larger than the diameter of the tees through the radial compression of the tube billets and the stretching process of the branch pipe.
