There are six processing methods for stainless steel pipe fittings:

  1. Forging process

The end or part of the pipe is punched and extended by a swaging machine to reduce the outer diameter. The commonly used swaging machines include rotary, connecting rod and roller type.

  2. Roller method

Place the core in the stainless steel pipe fittings, and push the outside with a roller to process the round edge.

  3. Stamping method

Use a taper core on the punch to expand the pipe end to the desired size and shape.

  4. Bending method

There are three methods commonly used, one method is called stretching method, the other method is called stamping method, and the third method is roller method. There are 3-4 rollers, two fixed rollers, one adjusting roller, and adjusting the fixed roller pitch. The finished pipe fittings are bent.

  5. Rolling method

Generally, no mandrel is used, which is suitable for the inner round edge of thick-walled pipe.

  6. Bulging method

Place rubber in the pipe and compress the upper part with a punch to make the pipe protrude into shape; The other method is hydraulic bulge forming, which fills the middle of the pipe with liquid, and the liquid pressure bulges the pipe into the required shape. This method is mostly used in the production of bellows.

ASME B16.5 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange advantage:The connection is not easy to deform, the sealing effect is good, and ASME B16.5 WN Flange is widely used. It is suitable for pipelines with large temperature or pressure fluctuations or pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature. It is also used for pipelines transporting Expensive media, flammable and explosive media, and toxic gases.
