Description
ASTM A789 UNS S32205 Seamless Duplex Stainless Steel Pipes

Looking for regular stainless steel tubes. ASTM A789 Ferritic/Austenitic Stainless Steel Tubing is the one for you. With regular wall thickness, these tubes provide resistance to corrosion cracking caused due to stress. ASTM A789 Tubes should be used below a temperature of 600 degrees C. Long-term exposure to a high temperature causes them to become brittle. ASTM A789M Duplex Tubing is a cost-effective solution for chloride stress corrosion cracking. The combination of molybdenum, chromium, and nitrogen makes ASTM A789 Tubes resistant to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion.

The high content of these elements in the ASTM A789 Seamless Tube makes its resistance superior to regular stainless steel. They are available in various dimensions, shapes, and sizes. ASTM A789 Welded Tubes are used in closed-loop water systems, brackish water, bleaching operations, and few food processing industries. Furthermore, they are extensively used in refrigeration systems, cold storage, and the furniture processing industry. Duplex ASTM A789 Welded Tubing has a tensile strength of  655 MPa and a yield strength of 450 MPa.
